We are searching for a CNC Programmer to support process development on new CNC swiss lathes. The CNC Programmer will generate CNC code to optimize CNC programs. The ability to calculate cycle times, select tooling, program set up, prove out processes and train others is needed. Knowledge of Partmaker, Esprit or CAM software is preferred. We will consider candidates with manual swiss lathe CNC programming. Past experience on Citizen, Tsugami, Star, Nomura, Nexturn, Hanwha, Tornos Deco or other brands of swiss CNC lathes will be considered. This is a great opportunity for individuals who came up through the ranks and gained CNC Programming experience. The CNC Swiss Lathe Programmer will work from the engineering office and create all new processes. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience programming swiss CNC lathes and strong problem solving skills.
MUST HAVE: 5 years of experience programming swiss CNC lathes. Candidates with cam software and cad skills are preferred. Past experience converting 3D models in cam software is a plus, but not required. The CNC Programmer will need experience developing all new programs from scratch.
