The ideal candidate for this position is friendly and outgoing, as well as self-driven, ambitious, and fully engaged.
Our team members are expected to take an active role in maintaining a clean and fully stocked store, while providing a top tier customer service experience for all of our customers.
Previous smoke shop experience is a plus, but we are willing to train
Responsibilities:
Greet every customer who enters the store Answer customer questions or concerns in a polite manner Identify and pursue any opportunities to upsell a customer's purchase.
Answer calls and emails from customers, as needed.
Follow all company policies and procedures.
Requirements High school diploma required (or equivalent) 21 or older Excellent customer service skills and verbal communication skills Comfortable using technology such as Clover POS and scanner, tablet or laptop Necessary mathematical skills, as needed to make change, give refunds, manage inventory, etc Willingness to check all customer IDs to ensure safe and legal sales of age restricted products Bonus points if you have A strong interest and/or familiarity with all or any of the following products; vape devices and accessories, kratom, disposable vapes, tobacco products, or cigars.
Experience working with spreadsheets, in either Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel.
Experience working with a Clover POS terminal and the CT Lottery terminal Job Types:
