LLP is a growing public accounting firm with offices in Middlebury, CT and Enfield, CT.
We are seeking an accountant, CPA (preferred) or CPA candidate to join our expanding tax, accounting and consulting areas.
We are looking for individuals with strong communication skills and tax experience to work with our closely held businesses and high net worth clients.

Responsibilities include:
Understanding tax law, rulings, and regulations Preparing various returns including, corporate, individual, partnerships, and non-profit Preparing financial statements Work effectively with associates and supervisors Prepare complex tax returns in a timely and efficient manner Demonstrate an understanding of the computer systems and software used in the tax and audit process Qualifications and

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
