This is a great entry level position for someone looking for a career! Looking for someone with some medical office or equivalent healthcare experience.
Must be a reliable, self-motivated individual who works well independently, as well as in a team.
We are a fast-paced, busy office and need someone who can multi-task with attention to detail and complete tasks thoroughly.
Medical Assistant's encouraged to apply! Office Hours:
Monday 8:
30am-5:
30pm, Tuesday & Wednesday 7:
30am-5pm, Thursday 8am-7pm, Friday 9am-2pm.
One Saturday a month from 8a-1p, with Friday scheduled off the week Saturday is worked.
Responsibilities and duties include but are not limited to:
Answer calls & texts to office and process requests and questions Schedule patients for appointments, including new patients, sick visits, physicals, & office visits Scan paperwork into patient charts Fax referrals for patients to specialists (ie.
OBGYN, Neurologist, Orthopedic, etc) and give patients information to call specialists Verify and enter patient's demographic information (ie.
insurance, address, phone number, etc) Collect co-pays and balances from patients Check patients in/out for their appointments and scheduling follow up appointments Obtain all necessary signatures and documents Other duties/small projects as delegated by the Office Manager, within the employees legal and personal capabilities Qualifications/skills:
Associates Degree preferred Minimum of 1 year medical office experience or equivalent preferred Epic experience preferred Job Type:
