We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide assistance and support to individuals who require personal care services.
As a Personal Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping individuals maintain their independence and improve their quality of life.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting - Provide assistance with mobility and transfers - Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals - Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature - Assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding - Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and tidying up living areas - Accompany clients to medical appointments or social outings - Provide emotional support and companionship to clients
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Personal Care Assistant or in a similar role is preferred but not required - Knowledge of basic caregiving techniques and principles - Ability to effectively communicate with individuals of varying abilities and backgrounds - Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients - Compassionate, patient, and understanding demeanor - Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect for clients' privacy This job is in Enfield, Monday to Friday, 10am till 5pm.
