Kforce has a client seeking a Financial Analyst in Enfield, Connecticut (CT).
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the monthly maintenance of certain aspects of the financial close
Responsible for the Weekly Results report
Assist with the completion and distribution of the Monthly and Quarterly Reporting packages
Provide analytical support pertaining to financial results compared to prior year and plan/forecast expectations
Support management reporting team members
Collaborate with business partners across the division and Corporate Finance
Promptly respond to various ad hoc analytics and management requests
College degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related Business field Tools and Technology Requirements
Financial planning, analysis, and/or reporting experience
In-depth understanding and knowledge of insurance and financial services industry
Strong analytic and problem solving capabilities
Ability to multi-task effectively in a fast paced environment
Ability to collaborate with others across the organization
Superior organization skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experienced Knowledge of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables and VLookups)
Adobe PDF Writer (creating pdf's from Excel, adding and deleting pages from existing PDF files)
Knowledge of SAP a plus but not required (refreshing queries)
Knowledge of Microsoft Word and PowerPointEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
